In the history of MGRI it is the first case when creative cooperation of a qualified Cuban geologist De La Nuez Colon Deysy and a skilled professor of MGRI Peter Ignatov resulted into the practical recommendations on finding gold ores in the central Cuba and caused deeper metallogenic analysis of this area.
"The presence of students from Cuba is very important for MGRI because interaction between our countries has always been on a positive note, especially now. Today we have a total of seven students from Cuba in the Master’s and postgraduate degrees study programmes", – comments the vice-rector for international affairs and regional cooperation Anastasia Mashkova.
