Leading geologists of Uzbekistan attend an internship programme at MGRI

The Institute for Advanced Studies and Additional Education of MGRI conducts an internship for nine representatives of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of Uzbekistan, as well as Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov and Navoi State Mining Institute.

The programme lasts for 2 month: from September 20 to November 20, 2021.

The curriculum of the internship is "Methods of exploration, appraisal, accounting, calculation of reserves of solid mineral deposits and design of geological exploration". The course is focused on learning and exchanging the best practices and experience in the field of exploration of solid minerals and includes consultations from leading professors of MGRI. The programme also gives an opportunity to visit the best Russian research institutes in the geological field.
